RAMROK is an app and practitioner portal operated by W89 Labs LLC. Internal participants can use their own records with the available account, sync, sharing and AI controls. Public enrollment is not open.
Account and practice information
Apple or Google sign-in supplies an account identifier and the name and email you choose to provide, including Apple's Hide My Email. W89 uses account, installation, membership and invitation records to connect your account to the correct workspace and protect access. Invitation emails and enabled care notifications support these account and care-team services.
Records and sharing
Your records are saved on your device. When you enable private record sync, accepted records are stored with your RAMROK account and can be retrieved on another signed-in device. Unsynced work cannot be recovered after deleting the app. Syncing your account does not by itself share your records with a practice. Practice membership, your category-sharing choices and assigned staff access are checked separately. You can review sharing and sync choices in your account settings. Separate practices do not share care-team permissions.
AI features and your choice
Coach is an optional service. In the mobile app, pressing Send in Coach asks for permission before the first Coach request. Allowing Coach enables its full relevant health context, including personalized and automatic Coach summaries. Your choice is saved to your account and applies on every device and in the portal. You can withdraw it in Settings → Coach data sharing or the portal's Ask Coach panel. Care-team staff reviewing records in the portal make a separate choice for each visit. This permission is separate from record sync, Apple Health or Health Connect access, and care-team sharing.
Food photo identification, meal-description analysis, nutrition estimates and meal illustrations operate independently of the Coach choice. Turning Coach off stops new Coach requests and prevents late Coach replies from being shown; it does not disable those food features. It cannot recall information already sent. A material change to Coach recipients or shared data requires a new choice.
When you use AI features, RAMROK’s backend sends the relevant food text or photo, question, conversation context and authorized saved records to OpenAI. Optional lab assistance sends the relevant extracted text or page image. Provider credentials remain on the backend; they are not included in the app. The backend limits each request to the information needed for that feature.
Generated meal illustrations use OpenAI through RAMROK’s Google Cloud backend. This feature sends a short food description for illustration; it does not include your account details, captured photos, Coach conversation, lab results or other saved health context. The picture is decorative and is not used to determine nutrition. AI results, accepted Coach notes and conversation history are stored by W89 so they can be retrieved without generating them again. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate; review it and confirm any proposed changes. AI does not replace your clinician.
Services and diagnostics
Google Cloud hosts RAMROK’s backend, encrypted account records, files and portal. Apple and Google provide sign-in, device capabilities and app distribution. Food lookup reads the existing public catalog through Cloudflare. PostHog receives restricted operational events such as feature stage, duration, error code, platform and build. W89 excludes questions, responses, health records, credentials, tokens and invitation links from these diagnostics. Advertising attribution and RevenueCat billing are not configured.
Retention and account choices
W89 retains account records and accepted AI results to provide the service, subject to account deletion and applicable security and legal retention requirements. A trial ending or uninstalling the app does not delete the server account. Account export, deletion, access revocation and on-device history controls are available separately. OpenAI processes submitted content under the applicable business associate agreement and service configuration. Retention depends on the agreement and the feature used; this is not a promise of immediate or zero retention.
